The South Bay Alano Club is an organization to aid and assist in the rehabilitation of alcoholics. It maintains and manages a club and club rooms as a meeting place for the rehabilitation and recreation of its members and friends. The life of the club is guided by the spirit of the Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous in order to insure our mission.
The South Bay Alano Club was established in May of 1982 as a safe and convenient location for meetings of AA and AL-ANON and as a meeting place for sponsors and friends to enjoy uninterrupted conversation in a casual and pleasant atmosphere. With two contiguous rooms, alternative types of meetings can occur simultaneously; we currently host over 70 meetings a week that significantly vary in in theme and format (men’s and women’s stag, newcomer, young people, retreads, etc.). We offer a full service coffee and espresso bar that offers hot and cold drinks, along with a broad selection of snacks to enjoy in a meeting, at the coffee bar, or at any of our indoor and outdoor small meeting tables around the facility.
